Do you see the ugliness?  He screams cruelty and cocoons them in lies.  The source of our anxieties in a time of need.  He is pitiful as he and his faithful followers have never known love.  There is so much good and beauty if we reject this menace.  We've seen the consequences already.  To choose him again will be our demise.

This painting would great in a small space that is red, orange, light yellow, green, dark blue,  purple, black, white, gray, beige, or wood.

Mike Kraus was born on the industrial shoreline of Muskegon, Michigan. After earning his Fine Arts Degree from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago, he attended Grand Valley State University for his graduate degree. From there, he gained varied experiences from the Chicago Architecture Center, Art Institute of Chicago, Hauenstein Center For Presidential Studies, Lollypop Farm Humane Society, and the Lurie Children's Foundation. And every place he worked, he had his sketchbook with him and found ways to be actively creative. In 2014, Kraus became a full-time artist by establishing Mike Kraus Art. Since then, he has sold thousands of paintings that are displayed in nearly every state and dozens of countries. Currently, Kraus lives in Rochester, New York with his beautiful wife and goofy dog.

Blog To the Future!

QUICK!  To the DeLorean!

Emmett "Doc" Brown, Marty McFly, and a Hover Board in 2015.  GREAT SCOTT!

Scout makes a good Hover Board even if she was very gassy at the Halloween party.  Someone must have found some cheese on the kitchen floor...

Thanks Megan and Scout for making my dream of 26 years come true!

Katie and Vern are explorers from New York.  They like to get dressed up and see all their friends in the city.  So, the next time you are in the Big Apple, look for them in a crowd because they’ll be the life of the party.

An Ode To Babysitting

Photobucket
"Where does he get those wonderful toys?"  From Aunt Meg and Uncle Mike's of course!  And what better way to go for a walk around the neighborhood than in a Batman mask.  This girl owns my heart.

Photobucket
I am required to write: "WHAT A STRANGE BOY!"

Photobucket
Drawing mermaids and Ren & Stimpy-esque portraits of each other

Photobucket

Dedicated to her art or mesmerized by the Eagles losing to the Cowboys?  Your call...

Photobucket
So much cupcake covering her hands.  She's almost as bad as me...

That's all from Rochester.  I just realized Thanksgiving is next week.  So, got to figure that all out.  Anyway

Meer Meer Me Meer... MEEER!

Photobucket
Finally...  Something to wear around the apartment...  For those of you who want to know why I am married to Megan; this is your answer.  For those of you who want to know why Megan married me; get in line...

Photobucket
Oh no!  Now she's getting into line...

Short and sweet this week.  Had a three days off of work and now have about six days worth of work to catch up on...  So it goes...  Xmas was good.  Got spoiled rotten.  Plenty of sweaters.  A snowbrush came just in the nick of time.  Played lots of Wii.  Now reading Adam Smith's Weath of Nations.  Hope everyone had a great holiday and see you after new years!

Wedding Libre

Photobucket
Who I was meant to be!

Photobucket
This about sums it up.  The Bell family wedding that is...

Photobucket
St. Mary's church in downtown Rochester.  A lot like the St. Mary's church in downtown Muskegon.  Too bad they whitewashed the whole inside because it looks like it has an incredible paint job underneath.

Photobucket
Geva Theatre.  No photos allowed inside of On Golden Pond.  May I say "THE LOONS!  THE LOONS!!!"  I've never seen the movie before so I can't compare.  The theater was a lot nicer than I expected and it was well performed.  I'm no expert on these things, but luckily my wife is and you can ask her opinion about it.

Photobucket
PLEASE SUPPORT THESE PUPPIES and other animals of Lollypop Farm by donating to my page for Barktober Fest 2011 at:  http://lollypop.kintera.org/ba
rktoberfest/mike I'm helping organize the run/walk and will be running around with a bullhorn, air horn, and a starter pistol.  So, fun for the whole family!

Did I Tell You We Moved... Again...

More new business before we start:

1) Megan and I moved again.  We shouldn't move again at least for another year.  Our new address is:

3 Mountain Lane, Unit 2C
Penfield, NY 14625

A HUGE THANKS goes out to Rich for letting us crash at his place for the past month.  Also, to Dick Sr. for letting us use his garage as a storage unit, lending us a truck, helping move all of our junk in, and then giving us a ton of new furniture.  THANKS!!!

Onward to the photo bonanza!

Photobucket
For Halloween, Rachel went as Strawberry Shortcake

Photobucket
Megan and I handed out candy at Rich's place while he brought her trick or treating.  It didn't last long since she got scared when she saw a plastic skeleton.

Photobucket
I am no longer phased when I see all of our junk in the back of a truck anymore

Photobucket
BEHOLD!  In all her glory!  Our new apartment.  It's slightly nicer looking than this since Megan took Monday off

Photobucket
Couch and TV are set, what else do you need?

Photobucket
This pic is weird to me since I've lived in Chicago for so long.  Why?  There are woods outside that window.

Photobucket
Welcome to Barbie's Dream Bathroom

Photobucket
It's like I'm living in Legally Blonde...

Photobucket
The joint from the outside.
