Keep On Keepin' On.

Photobucket
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

Photobucket
And that means Littlest Pet Shop!  I am the Husky in the middle.

Photobucket
Helped with some moving last weekend.  Putting together Ikea furniture is always an adventure.

Photobucket
Somehow it all came together with only one missing part...

Photobucket
How does Princess like the move?  The look says it all...

Photobucket
Lot of work happening around Lollypop Farm.

Photobucket
Goodbye lawn!

That's all.  Very, very busy and lots of crazy little details all over the place...

Chalk Mike In Moon Boots!

Photobucket
An original chalk on papa driveway piece by Tachel.  Note: It is near the "Poopie" graffiti, which will never wash away.  That will boost the re-sale value of the house.

MOON BOOTS!!! Marianne had quite the $3 find at a garage sale.  A find that almost killed the entire family (or at least put them in the E.R.).  Unfortunately, I am too big to use them and I really can't lose more weight without jeopardizing my health...

Photobucket
I can't wait until she uses them to jump off the diving board...

Photobucket
Here's Dock playing with his favorite toy.  He is 2 hours of sleepy peace and 15 minutes of chaos.  That you can count  on.  We'll see how he does after he gets neutered tomorrow...

BARKTOBER FEST 2011 is on September 24th in Egypt Park (next to Lollypop Farm) and I'm on The Dirty Dogs team.  So, please support me (and the homeless and abused animals of Lollypop Farm) by going to http://lollypop.kintera.org/barktoberfest/mike to make a donation!

The Summer Red Wings

Photobucket
Who's that dog with Megan?  It's Barbie!  Who's Barbie?  Just another lap dog that loves Megan.  It must be a sign...

Photobucket
Rachel and I ruining papa's driveway with chalk paint that doesn't come off with water even though it said it did.  Oh well...

Photobucket
"Poopie."  Real nice work...

Photobucket
Stella (aka Sasha to those at Lollypop Farm) enjoying all the other dogs at Ellison Park

Photobucket
She's a bit big for a lap dog.

Photobucket
Frontier Field, home of the Rochester Red Wings.  So, now I can have my "Winter Red Wings" hockey and my "Summer Red Wings" baseball.

Photobucket
Baseball glove horse sculpture.

Photobucket
Why was I at a baseball game?  FREE TICKETS, FREE FOOD, FREE DRINKS! FREE BEER!  FREE STOMACH ACHE AFTER THE GAME!!!  So very worth it!

Photobucket
If there's one thing I've learned about Rochester, it is that they love bounce houses!

Photobucket
Tire race gets a little dangerous and almost takes out a third base coach

Photobucket
The Legends of the Red Wings.  One is Cal Ripken, Jr. and I don't remember the other two.  And, I couldn't find it on their website.  So...

Photobucket
HERE THEY COME AROUND THE BEND!

Photobucket
OH NO!  NOW THEY ARE COMING AFTER US!

Photobucket
Panoramic shot of Frontier Field.  Thanks to Dee for organizing this.  It was a good time and I expect to see the awesome new glasses at work soon.

I'm done.  Need to find a way to get out of the heat...

Jumping the Shark

Photobucket
It's 80. It's 40. It's 80. It's 40. Welcome to Spring in the Midwest. Look at all these unemployed/underemployed people enjoying the nice weather on a weekday...

Photobucket
View of downtown from Lincoln Park

Photobucket
As much as I talk about hating public art in America, every so often I find a gem that I kind of like. This is near the zoo in Lincoln Park and Lake Shore Drive

Ol' St. Mike's. I have to practice taking architecture pictures before the honeymoon

Photobucket
The fella I'm named after (The guy standing, not the one being stood on).

How close to a Robin can I get before he flies away. About 2 1/2 feet...

What a weird thing to do to a home. This is a facade-ectomy. They preserved the original home on the site (good). Reused it with new construction (understandable). But, there's a huge gap between the original front and the new house which appears to be a patio or something (strange).

These signs are getting more and more elaborate and militant.

Photobucket
If I ever have a home, you can expect to be welcomed by something like this when you visit...

Photobucket
Oh accountant humor. Marylin's last day is tomorrow and she's making everyone jealous...

Stupid Smiles

PhotobucketWhat do I love about winter in Chicago?  After the hibernation, a nice day happens and everyone walks around the city with these stupid smiles on their faces.  It's great.  Plus, I get to look at a bunch of buildings I've neglected over the previous few months

Photobucket
Speaking of stupid smiles...

Photobucket
The most accusatory "please help me" sign ever...

Photobucket
My car from high school, except green.  Best car ever.  $5 in Diesel gas every couple of weeks and when it broke down, you opened the hood and could see what the problem was and fix it.  Only thing better is a bike

Photobucket
Megan and I observed Earth Hour by playing Life by candlelight.  How romantic...

Photobucket
Looks more like a Ouija Board...

Our little wedding sweatshop operation

More invites than our printer thought possible.  Or is that more Kraft American Singles than he thought possible?
