🐦🔴🔵 What Part of Your Jayhawk College Years Did You Love? 🔴🔵🐦

Brightscapes: The Way To Beauty

Some of the most precious memories we have as parents are the ones we know we can never quite get back. The excitement of dropping our kid off at the University of Kansas (KU), the stories of new friendships, the late nights, the challenges, and the little moments that helped shape the young adult they were becoming. And then, almost before we know it, graduation arrives. I think that's why places like Fraser Hall mean so much. Beneath the warm glow of a Kansas sunset, the limestone building stands proudly against the evening sky. The golden lawn, the trees along the horizon, and the familiar sidewalk winding through campus seem to hold a thousand memories. I can almost hear the laughter of students and feel that bittersweet pride of knowing my Jayhawk is ready to take on the world.

Fraser Hall opened in 1967, replacing the beloved original building that had stood since 1872. Yet some things never really change. The dreams, the discovery of who we are, and that unmistakable feeling of belonging to something bigger than ourselves. Once a Jayhawk, always a Jayhawk. Perhaps that's what makes a place like Fraser Hall so special. Long after the graduation cap has been tossed and the next chapter of life begins, a little piece of Mount Oread remains in our hearts. And for a parent, what could be more meaningful than having a reminder of those wonderful years when their student was finding their wings?

If you could bring one treasured piece of your Jayhawk's college years home with you, wouldn't Fraser Hall be a wonderful place to start?
