I follow the winding path not knowing where I'll end up.  The trees rustle in the breeze stirring up the aromas of the forest.  A freshness one always has to remind themselves of in civilization.  The light refracts in strange ways at this time.  It's when the surreal becomes the real.

Let's Enjoy the Last Days of Summer!

 Brightscapes: The Way To Beauty

August is for roasting s'mores on brisk nights at the backyard fire pit.  Sharing stories while your furry family member snores under your chair.  Appreciating the peaceful hooting of an owl and the sparks of the fireflies.

Home is a special place.  It's where you make memories with the people you love.  A place that reveals who you really are and how you'd like the world to be.  So surround yourself with joy and happiness.

Your Friend,

Mike Kraus

The wind gently flows through her hair as she basks in the sun.  The light energizing her spirit and the fresh scent of the field relaxes her soul.  There is only the whisper of the breeze and the sound of her footsteps as she passes row after row of sunflowers.  She selects a few choice blooms for a temporary reminder of the gratitude she has for this moment.  Knowing how fortunate you are only brings you more luck.

This painting would look best in a small-to-medium space that is red, orange, yellow, purple, green, light blue, white, black, grey, beige, or wood.

Places and moments can be very special.  There's a sense of awe.  Something that pulls you away from your mundane routine and gives you peace of mind.  More importantly, this is true of our relationships with people too.  To know that we're loved, supported, and have a place in this world.  We have a lot to be grateful for.

Who is special to you?  Why are you happy to know them?  What have you done to express that appreciation?  It's never too late to let them know.

With sunrise at 5:29 AM, how am I expected to get any sleep?  Ugh.  I stammer out of bed to perform my usual morning routine of letting the dog out and all.  My bones ache.  I load up the coffeemaker with grounds and water.  It gurgles and puffs.  A steady stream trickling into the pot.  A mug full of caffeine to keep me awake during the day.
