The "L" train rattles and squeals after a long day at work.  Chauffeured home while reading a book and looking at the road rage of traffic below.  The backs of building pass by with their tangle of power lines and wonky patios.  This city has two side: a facade to show the world and a place where the real work gets done.  The alleys are somehow beautifully utilitarian.

What do you notice about your neighborhood?  Is it full of natural beauty or manmade?  Are there trees or have they all been removed?  Can you get places by walking and/or biking or are you forced to drive everywhere?  Where we live is who we are.

This print would look best in a space that is red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, black, white, beige, grey, or wood

Around 10,000 B.C., a corn tortilla food wrap became a common dinner in Mesoamerica.  For thousands of years and countless generations, the recipe was passed on and evolved.  The Pueblo Native American of southwestern United States and northern Mexico ate it as a staple meal.  Cowboys roaming California, Nevada, Utah, Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado, Texas, and Guanajuato found it to be an easy meal to eat while rounding up cattle.  There's a couple legends where the name "burrito" came from.  One says it's because a street vendor in Ciudad Ju谩rez named Juan M茅ndez sold the meal while riding a donkey.  Another claims it came from a term of endearment used by a man selling lunches to poor school children.  Today, the burrito is served in an infinite amount of restaurants in a myriad of varieties.  Yet another example of how food shows we have more in common than we have in differences.

Her puppy doesn't seem to notice the brisk morning air as they hike the river valley.  The young dog pulls to explore more of the trail.  Even when she tries to stop to enjoy the view.  The only sound in the river and the leaves shaking in the breeze.  When the sunlight comes out, the forest burst with vibrant colors of autumn.  This is the magic of nature.

✅ Evaluate: Am I More Relaxed? Do I Need To Make Adjustments? ✅

CONGRATULATIONS! I’ve made it to the end. Do I feel more calm and relaxed? Take the “How Relaxed and Happy Am I?” Quiz again at:

https://www.facebook.com/groups/allfreedom/permalink/869257465222224

My score may go up or down. Maybe I’m experiencing more stress because of grief, work, or other event. Or I’m very relaxed because I’m vacationing at a remote cabin in the woods. Either way, it helps to take the quiz regularly to see how I’m doing. To keep doing what works. And to adjust when I’m having difficulty.

Keep doing good things and good things will happen!

馃槑 How Relaxed and Happy Am I? 馃槑
TAKE THE QUIZ!

When complete, go to “See Answers” and add up the score (there are no incorrect answers). Possible results are 0–40. They indicate:
► Scores ranging from 0–13 would be considered relaxed.
► Scores ranging from 14–26 would be considered moderate stress.
► Scores ranging from 27–40 would be considered high perceived stress.
Did I score a 14 or higher? Write down the score somewhere I can easily find it later. Follow our relaxation guide at:
https://www.facebook.com/groups/allfreedom/learning_content After I’ve completed, take the quiz again to see if I’m more calm and relaxed.

“Water is fluid, soft, and yielding. But water will wear away rock, which is rigid and cannot yield. As a rule, whatever is fluid, soft, and yielding will overcome whatever is rigid and hard. This is another paradox: what is soft is strong." - Lao Tzu
