With sunrise at 5:29 AM, how am I expected to get any sleep?  Ugh.  I stammer out of bed to perform my usual morning routine of letting the dog out and all.  My bones ache.  I load up the coffeemaker with grounds and water.  It gurgles and puffs.  A steady stream trickling into the pot.  A mug full of caffeine to keep me awake during the day.

Mike Kraus' paintings now on view at Canandaigua National Bank

Rochester, NY – Canandaigua National Bank proudly features 23 new works of art by Mike Kraus.  The "BRIGHTSCAPES" show is currently open and will run through June 30th, 2016.  It's an exhibit of colorful landscapes both real and imaginative.  

Mike Kraus is a local artist known for his vibrant paintings of nature.  Originally from Muskegon, MI, he moved to Chicago to attend the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Currently, he's a full-time artist living in Rochester, NY with his wife, Megan Bell.  

Founded in 1887, Canandaigua National Bank and Trust is the region’s only locally owned, full-service community bank, with 24 branches in Ontario and Monroe counties, as well as Financial Services Centers located in Bushnell’s Basin and Geneva.
