 (http://coffeeartproject.com/About) as a part of the Los Angeles Coffee Festival (https://www.la-coffeefestival.com/).  
The Coffee Art Project supports Project Waterfall, which is committed to
bringing clean water to communities which grow coffee.  So far, Project Waterfall has raised more
than $1 million and delivered clean water to over 27,000 people in Tanzania, Rwanda, Ethiopia and Nicaragua.

About Michael Kraus
Michael Kraus was born on the industrial shoreline of Muskegon, Michigan. After earning his Fine 
Arts Degree from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago, he attended Grand Valley State
University for his graduate degree. From there, he gained varied experiences from the Chicago
Architecture Foundation, Art Institute of Chicago, Hauenstein Center For Presidential Studies,
Lollypop Farm Humane Society, and the Children's Memorial Foundation. And every place he
worked, he had his sketchbook with him and found ways to be actively creative. In 2014, Kraus
became a full-time artist by establishing Mike Kraus Art. Since then, he has sold hundreds of
paintings that are displayed in nearly every state and dozens of countries. Currently, Kraus lives in
Rochester, New York with his beautiful wife and goofy dog.

My feet sink into the fine beach sand as I make my way toward the bonfire.  A case of beer in one hand and a bundle of wood under the other arm are the price of admission.  The heat of the sun begins to give way to the cool breeze blowing off the lake.  The scent of the shoreline pares perfectly with the changing colors of the sky.  I faintly hear my friends voices over the water splashing as they collect wood and prepare for a perfect summer night.

This painting would great in a space that is light red, orange, dark yellow, green, blue, purple, black, white, gray, beige, or wood.

Twilight along the shores of the Great Lake.  In the valley between the dunes is a cluster of birch.  Their white bark clinging to the trunks of the unusual trees.  A humble spot secluded by nature.  A perfect place to find one's purpose in life.

This piece would work in a space that is deep red, orange, light yellow, green, blue, purple, black, white, grey, beige, or wood.

Not too far from Faro on the Algarve coast is the town of Albufeira.  An old fisherman's village turned tourist destination.  Travelers are attracted to the burning sun above the cool waters of the Atlantic Ocean.  It's rare to find an empty beach nestled against the golden sandstone cliffs.  A place to rejuvenate under the rays with a little vinho verde.  

This painting would look best in a space that is blue, light green, light pink, orange, light purple, grey, or sand beige.

The light splash of water was the only sound breaking the silence as we loaded our gear before sunrise at the dock.  The boat sputtering toward the channel as we made our way to the big lake.  As we set up our equipment, the sun was a glowing orange as began to appear.  I ate my doughnut watching it rise and waiting to snag a rainbow trout.  The boat rocking in the gentle breeze.
