Martha's Vineyard is a "home away from home."  Mornings are slow, but not too late.  We take our travel mugs of coffee to the trails to enjoy the cool breeze off the Atlantic.  The smell of salt lingers as the topography undulates and we appreciate quirky formations.  The dense forest and thick marshes abruptly open to meadows.  We come here for this view.

Weekends start off slow and early.  Linger in bed while the dog snores with intense delight.  Eventually, I shuffle to the kitchen to put some grounds and water into the French press.  The dog and I will go outside and watch the deer graze in the backyard as it brews.  Back inside, I'll fill a couple for travel mugs and we make our way to our hiking destination.  I wish every morning was like this.

This piece would work in a small-to-medium space that is red, orange, dark green, blue, purple, black, white, wood, or a neutral beige

I follow the winding path not knowing where I'll end up.  The trees rustle in the breeze stirring up the aromas of the forest.  A freshness one always has to remind themselves of in civilization.  The light refracts in strange ways at this time.  It's when the surreal becomes the real.

The warm breeze rushes through the car as we drive down country roads with our windows down.  Every bend reveals new sights.  Every hill a new perspective on the panorama.  It's a yearly ritual for us to visit sunflower fields as they bloom.  A day full of hiking and picnics among the waves of petals.  It's the little things in life that make us grateful.

Extra Salty

Extra Salty

During Prohibition, Americans would sneak across the Mexican border to drink and illegally smuggle alcohol.  Originally, Margarita's (Spanish for "Daisy") was made with brandy, but it transitioned into using tequila.  It's a drink for everyone as it is sweet, sour, and salty.  No wonder it's the most popular mixed drink in the United States.

This painting would look best in a small space that is dark orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, black, white, gray, beige. or wood

Keep It Simple. These Pieces Make It Easy.

Brightscapes: The Way To Beauty

Do you have a space that just isn't right?  Simply add a touch of luxe interior design with original artwork.  The Lavender Farm is a highly coveted piece that is endlessly versatile - perfect for a large space or above a fireplace, compliments a wide range of colors, and provides bold colors while still being calming.

Staycations have reminded us that we have a lot to be grateful for near our home.  Hiking dusty roads that gently slope to the lake.  Summer memories that work in just about any space with it's medium size and neutral colors.

Attitude and refinement - this piece will add "pop" to any space that needs it.  You can turn a drab wall into something inspiring.  It's just that simple.
