Custom Dog Condo

Artsy Reclaimed is proud to introduce our custom Dog Condo. Condos can be customized and ordered in single & double small, medium, large and extra large sizes.

Our sizes are based on the black plastic crate pans that come in ugly metal crates. Dog Condos are designed so the crate pan is easily removable in case of an accident. The kennel pictured is built out of poplar with a reclaimed solid cherry wood top, custom metal bars that look like wooden sticks, and sturdy hammered steel hardware. We use mortise & tenon joints to build sturdy kennels that will last a lifetime.

Local delivery available for a small fee. (Within 50 miles of Sarasota)

All she wanted was companionship.  Someone to share her apartment at the senior community.  She replied to an ad that said, "Free Bichon to a good home."  How could she resist?  The sweet lady had to learn the hard way that "you get what you pay for."

“I once bought my kids a set of batteries for Christmas with a note on it saying, toys not included.” – Bernard Manning

Scout the Kangaroo.  This is what happens when you're stuck inside because of all the rain, snow, and ice storms.  Lots of dog insanity...

Action shot

Megan trying to get Scout to play with her lip toy correctly.

Well, that's about as good as it gets.

BATH!  Where's your Christmas spirit?

So I'm spoiling the dog.  But, what's the deal with Beaker over my left shoulder?

Scout the Pout

Another beautiful day in the neighborhood.

Hope everyone survived Ice Storm Gemini.  We largely missed out on it in Rochester, but it seems everyone to the west got it pretty good.

HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

I Love the Smell of Chlorine in the Morning

Last weekend, Megan and I were lucky enough to see Rachel in a swim meet at Penfield High School as a part of the Sea Dragons (http://www.seadragons.org)

Mmmm...  Swimming is a difficult sport to capture with still photography...

But, look at Rachel go!

She's a way better swimmer than I am.  I would have been doing the doggy paddle...

And, here's the future Olympian showing off all her prizes.  GREAT JOB RACHEL!

And, here's Scout torturing us.  Specifically, trying to use Megan's hair as a pillow...

A good place to hide from the cold.

And passing out after three hours of losing her mind...

And, other dogs are now mailing Scout treats.  Apparently really good treats that are able to hold her complete attention for the entire night.  Thanks Vern!

Finally, went to Wilson Commencement Park's (http://www.wilsoncommencementpark.com/) gala on Saturday.  Unfortunately, wasn't able to take any pics.  It was a good time with great people.

That's about it for now.  Just waiting for Meg to get back from Chicago and playing with the dog.

Now for some randomness.  And, what could be more random than cuddling chincillas?

Waiting to vote for Penfield's 4.4% property tax hike, there was a little art show that featured my niece Rachel's awesome rendition of Hokusai's Great Wave.  There's framing.  The color gradient in the sky is well done.  The marker line work is beautiful.
Looking forward to the long weekend.  A MUCH, MUCH needed weekend and should be a lot of fun.  Hope yours is too!

And now for the home decorating portion of arts and crafts, Here's our new swag lamp Megan made over the weekend.

Another piece of evidence that Spring is here.

Well, pretty glad to see the Red Wings (hockey version for the Rochester folk) were able to pull off their 22nd consecutive trip to the playoffs.  But, won't be watching the game tonight since it doesn't kick off until 10:30pm...  That is all.
